Wells Plastics at Plasto Ispack Exhibition 2009

Carl Birch, Sales and Marketing Director for Wells Plastics gave a presentation to a packed hall at Plasto Ispack Exhibition on the 9th of September 2009 in Tel Aviv discussing the role of Reverte oxobiodegradable as an environmental product for packaging applications.

The paper was extremely well received and demonstrated the enhanced level of qualification that Wells has managed to achieve on the Reverte products in polyolefin applications.

It was also an opportunity to discuss in an open forum the recent Bioplastics Position Paper on Oxobiodegradable additives, which caused controversy in the industry press due to its biased opinion and ignorance on the subject of oxobiodegradability. Mr Birch was able to readdress the balance by discussing at length each item which was raised on the paper and highlighted evidence, both industry and academic.

In addition to Mr Birch, there we a number of academics and suppliers who made presentations.

After the presentation Mr Birch was inundated with enquiries and noted that the Israeli market offered a great opportunity for Reverte.
